… Shall Not Be Infringed

The 2nd amendment reads, “The right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.” Far too many politicians and even Supreme Court justices are confused by these words. However, the American public is not.

40 out of the 50 states now have concealed weapons laws that allow law-abiding citizens to get permits to carry guns. Traffic shootouts and random violence has not resulted from these laws. Could it be that criminals are more concerned about potentially armed victims than they are by gun control laws? As a proud member of the NRA, I wholeheartedly believe that more vigorous enforcement of existing crime laws is the key to keeping America safe at home.
